Troy Andrew McClaran

Troy Andrew McClaran, age 55 of Birmingham, passed away, Wednesday September 28, 2022, at the Jefferson County Health Center.

Troy was born in Keosauqua on May 26, 1967, to Robert E. and Judith A. Howard McClaran.

He lived all his life in Van Buren County Iowa. Troy worked with Tenco and his jobs were at Jim’s Jack and Jill, Econo Foods and Iowa State Bank.

Troy loved NASCAR, Iowa Hawkeye Sports along with WWE Wrestling.  He enjoyed camping at the State Fair and making many new friends. He volunteered at the Senior Citizen Center.

Troy was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Survivors include his parents, Robert and Judy of Birmingham; 2 brothers, Todd of Fairfield, Trent and (Tanya) McClaran of Stockport; nieces and nephews, 2 great nephews, 1 great niece; Aunts, Uncles, along with many friends.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 3, 2022, at the Sondheim Center with Pastor Phil Campbell officiating.  Cremation will follow the service.

Visitation with family and friends will be 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 2, 2022, at the Sondheim Center.

In-lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family and mailed to Judy McClaran at 12737 Hwy1 Birmingham, Iowa 52535.
