Ada M. Love was born October 11, 1911 near New Boston, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Ada (Prough) Bishop. She was raised on the family farm and attended Grandview High School. Ada was married to Carl E. Love on April 12, 1934 in Kirksville, MO. He passed away in 1975.

Ada and Carl moved to the Birmingham community in 1968 where they raised their children. Ada was a homemaker and worked in the Housekeeping and Laundry departments of the Jefferson County Hospital for 13 years. She was a member of Surburban Heights Baptist Church of Fairfield. Ada loved to fish...anytime and anywhere there was water! Ada enjoyed embroidery, quilting and shopping!

Ada is survived by her children and their families: Laverne Love of Washington, IA, Carl Love of Keosauqua, IA, Carolyn Beggs of Mt. Sterling, IA, Marilyn Kerr of Douds, IA and Vicki Allman of Fairfield, IA. Survivors include 4 sisters and 2 brothers: Elizabeth Pfieffer and Genevieve Wood of Newton, IA, Lucille Stewart of Albuquerque, NM, Henry Bishop of Florida, Ivan Bishop of Linwood Springs, CO and Gertrude Novinger of Chillicothe, MO.

Preceding Ada in death are her parents, husband, three sons: LaVone, John and Jerry Love, and 3 brothers and 1 sister: Arthur, Charles and Albert Bishop and Helen Carter.
