Agnes Marine Dunn Parcell

Agnes M. Parcell age 94, passed away Tuesday March 4, 2008 in Fairfield, IA at Living Care Center in Jefferson County Hospital.

Open visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Thursday March 6 2008 till 7:00 P.M. at Behner Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, March 7, 2008 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield with Pastor Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

The family requests memorials be made in lieu of flowers to the Jefferson County Dialysis Center.

Agnes Marine Parcell was born January 5, 1914 to William and May (Smith) Dunn in New London, IA. She was united in marriage with Leonard Parcell December 24, 1934. Leonard passed away November 28, 1994. .

Agnes and Leonard owned and operated Parcell Grocery Store on Kirkwood Street for over 30 years then sold the store in 1979. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and a member of VFW Ladies Auxilary.

Agnes is survived by a sister-in-law, Ruth Dunn of Mt. Pleasant, IA. and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leonard, two sisters: Gladys Taylor and Ethel Brandt, and one brother, J.W. Dunn.
