Anice Heston, age 96, formerly of Fairfield passed away September 8,
2013 at Parkview of Wellman, Wellman, Iowa.
A Memorial graveside service will be 10:30 am, Saturday, September 14,
2013 at Evergreen Cemetery, with Pastor Danny Cary officiating.

Anice Oliver Heston was born October 7, 1916 in Fairfield. Daughter of Henry and Agnes (Kurtz)
Oliver. Her mother passed away when she
was 14 days old and she was raised by grandparents Mr. & Mrs. John G.
Oliver of Packwood.
She graduated from Packwood High School class 1934.
Anice married Hugo Harper in August of 1936, they later divorced. She married Harry Heston in Ottumwa, IA on November
23, 1962. He passed away in February 3,
1994.
She worked for 37 years as a seamstress for Universal Producing Company. Anice has been a Charter member of the Eagles
Women Auxiliary #1927 since 1962. For the last 16
years she has lived in Durant.
Anice is survived by her children: John Harper of Rockford, Fred Harper of Durant, Iowa, Susan
Snyder of Richland, IA; Step Children: Virginia Brown of Mesa Arizona and Dale
Heston of Kansas City, MO; 17 Grandchildren , 19 Great Grandchildren. 9 Great
Great Grandchildren, several Step Grandchildren and Great Step Grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grandparents, husband: Harry,
1Brother, 2 sisters, 1 Step Son: Wayne Heston; 1 son: Lester Harper; 1daughter:
Janice Greer and 1 Granddaughter: Chris Kuntz.
