Anola 'Ann' I. Bryant

Anola I. 'Ann' Bryant, age 63, of Fairfield, IA, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, IA. The body will be cremated.

A visitation with the family will be held 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, October 9, 2009 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. No services are planned.

Anola I. 'Ann' Bryant was born in Ottumwa, IA December 4, 1945. She was the daughter of Howard and Sylvia (Brown) Saner. She graduated from Ottumwa High School with the Class of 1964 and was united in marriage with Ed Bryant March 20, 1965 in Ottumwa.

Ann was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed traveling the country in the family RV and spending time with her grandchildren at their activities. Her hobbies included cross-stitching, puzzles and playing games on the computer.

Ann is survived by her husband, Ed, of Fairfield, her mother, Sylvia Dudley of Ottumwa, and her children and their families: Cynthia (Glen) Hunt of Knoxville, IA, Ed (Lidia) Bryant of Fairfield, IA, Brenda (Dan) Janssen of Sterling, IL, and Howard (Shannon) Bryant of Grant, MN. Ann was blessed with eight grandchildren. Survivors include three siblings: Vi (Ken) Kent of Osage Beach, MO, Lee (Gary) Canny of Carlisle, IA, and Butch (Helen) Saner of Ottumwa, IA.

She was preceded in death by her father.
