Arthur William Lundquist

Arthur William Lundquist, age 90, passed away on October 29, 2011, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield, Iowa.

Funeral Services will held on Wednesday November 2, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on November 2, 2011 with Pastor Medea Saunders officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Fairfield. Cards and memorials can be sent to 1095 Silvercrest Circle, Apartment #312, Iowa City, Iowa 52240.

William Arthur Lundquist was born on August 14, 1921 in Fairfield, Iowa to Arthur John and Violet Fern Miller Lundquist. He lived most of his life in Fairfield and was affiliated with the First Methodist Church. He graduated from Fairfield High School and attended Parsons College and the American Institute of Business in Davenport, Iowa. He was an employee at Cole's Grocery, Fairfield hotel and the Fairfield Flower Shop. Arthur was an Army veteran who served his country during WW II.

Arthur Lundquist is survived by cousins: John Crawford and Phil Lundquist, several nieces and nephews and friend: Timothy Tolzmann.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Leland L. Lundquist and Floyd B. Lundquist.
