Audrey Margaret Bower

Audrey Margaret Bower, age 90, passed away December 25, 2010 at Henry County Hospital in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Fairfield First United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Metz officiating.

Family visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Behner Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Glasgow Cemetery, Jefferson County Hospital Auxiliary or Fairfield First United Methodist Church. Cards and memorials can be sent to Ben Bower 803 E. Harvest Drive Mt. Pleasant, Iowa 52641.

Audrey was born on November 3, 1920 to Floyd and Flossie Marshal Baity, in St. Louis, Missouri. On March 5, 1944 she married H. Wayne Bower at the Jefferson County Court House. He passed away November 23, 2002.

She was a lifetime resident of Jefferson County and the Glasgow area. Audrey was a homemaker/farm wife. She was affiliated with First United Methodist Church and was also a 50 year charter member of the Jefferson County Hospital Auxiliary.

Audrey is survived by 3 children: Ben (Judith) Bower of Mt. Pleasant, Tim (Karen) Bower of Muscatine and Melissa (Jeff) Olson of Urbandale, 6 grandchildren: Brittany Bower, Aric Bower, Megan Schultz, Zach Olson, Jacob Olson and Nicholas Olson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
