Bertha "Rosalie" Mairet

Bertha "Rosalie" Mairet age 75, passed away November 26, 2013 at Jefferson County Health Center.

Visitation will be 9:30 am, Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Behner Funeral Home prior to the service.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 am, Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield with Pastor Randy Sweeny officiating. Burial will be at Batavia Cemetery.

B. "Rosalie" Mairet was born June 6, 1938 in Jefferson County to George Albert and Opal Silvia (McCleary) Mairet.

Rosalie graduated from Batavia High School in 1957. She moved to California after graduation and worked at Fiber Board for 30 years. She moved back to Fairfield in 1995. She was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church of Batavia, IA. Rosalie enjoyed her dog Spot and her cat Daisy.

Rosalie is survived by her daughter: Laurie (Terrance) Carlson of Corona, CA, one granddaughter: Jamie Carlson of Corona, CA; and 3 sisters: LaVelle Ridgeway and Margie Mairet of Fairfield, IA and Juanita Jones of Ottumwa, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; George and Opal Mairet, 1 sister: Darlene Leahy and 1 brother: Roscoe Webb.
