Betty J. Reichert, age 77, of 901 S. 7th St. Fairfield, Iowa. Died May 24, 2007 at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield, Ia.

Funeral Services were 10:30 A.M. Tuesday May 29, 2007 at the New Life Community Church with Pastor Jim McGaffey officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield, IA.

Betty Joan Reichert was born Dec. 26, 1929 to Eberly and Mabel Slee Dodds in Piercville,Ia.She married John Reichert on October 9, 1949 in Fairfield,Ia.

Betty graduated from Stockport High School class of 1948. She lived most of her life in the Fairfield area. She was a homemaker Betty was a member of the New Life Community Church. Her hobbies include her love for canning,cooking, and Gardening, and being with her family.

Betty is survived by her husband John Reichert-Fairfield. Her daughter and spouce, Kimberly Joan & (Mark) Mills -Coal Valley, Ill. 1 Granddaughter and husband Cristen Ward (Nathan) Lykken-Urbandale, Iowa. 3 Step grandchildren 1 step great granddaughter and 3 sisters and 1 brother- Shirley Croskery-Donnellson,Ia., Virginia Morrison-St. Petersburg, Florida, and Darlene "Deanie" Lazenby- Keosauqua,Ia. Jerry and Toni Dodds-West Branch, Ia.
