Betty (Bell) Walker

Betty (Bell) Walker, age 81 of Fairfield, passed away February 18, 2014 at Sunnybrook Living Care Center, Fairfield, Iowa.

Visitation for family and friends will be 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Behner Funeral Home.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Betty (Bell) Walker was born September 13, 1932 to John Henry and Lucille Marie (Martin) Haynes in Stockport, Iowa. She married Donald Bell August 21, 1965. He passed away July 16, 1988. She later married John Walker October 22, 1994.

Betty was born and raised in Van Buren County. She graduated from Bonaparte High School in 1950. Betty was a Seamstress at Blue Bird in Mt Pleasant for 20 years. She enjoyed camping and fishing. Betty loved spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, John Walker of Fairfield; 1 daughter, Donnene Bell of Fairfield; 1 brother, Jesse (Caroline) Haynes of Hillsboro; many nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother: John Haynes Jr., husband: Donald Bell, 1 son: Morris Longcor, 1 daughter: Brenda Kay Bell
