Betty A. Williams

Betty A. Williams, age 86 of Fairfield passed away March 23, 2014 at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield, Ia.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Behner Funeral Home with cremation to follow and a private burial at a later date.

Betty was born on March 5, 1928 in Warrington England, to Jabez Williams and Nellie Newns Williams. She married Edwin E. Williams on May 9, 1947 in Fairfield, Iowa.

Mrs. Williams was a Homemaker and cared for her family throughout the years. She enjoyed knitting and making baby hats and donating them to the hospital. However, Betty enjoyed spending time with her family and friends too.

Betty is survived by five children: Dr. Dorothy Campell, George W. Williams, Elizabeth Rysdam, Diana Hoover and Christine Bennett and many grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Husband: Edwin E. Williams, father: Jabez Williams, Mother: Nellie Newns Williams, one son: James Allan Williams, two brothers and one sister.
