Beverly Jane Rebling

Beverly Jane Rebling, age 85, went to be with the Lord Monday, August 22, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.  She was born November 1, 1936, on a farm near Ainsworth, IA to Harry C. Miller and Ethel (Miller) Hanze.

Beverly graduated from Brighton HS, class of 1955.  She was united in marriage to Harold Rebling, Jr. on October 9, 1955, at the Methodist Church in Brighton.  They spent their married life working their farm near Fairfield and raising their family.

Beverly loved the Lord, her family, and her friends.  She especially enjoyed her grandchildren, watching them grow, and attending all of their activities.  She enjoyed traveling, reading, playing games, and flowers.

She will be missed by her husband Harold, sons Bruce (Renee) Rebling, Alan (Vicki) Rebling, and daughter Kristine (Philip) Barker, grandchildren Aaron (Danielle), Rachel (Howard), Jenna (Shane), Nathan (Sidney), Allison, and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Ethel, sister Betty Standley, and brothers Raymond and Burdette Miller.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at Word of Life Lutheran Church in Fairfield. A time of fellowship will be held at Word of Life Church immediately following the service. A private burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
