Bobby J. "Pinky" Johnson was born July 22, 1938 in Stockport, Iowa, the son of Robert and Opal (Hall) Johnson. He lived most of his life in the Van Buren and Jefferson County communities. Pinky graduated from Stockport High School with the Class of 1956. He married Donna Peck in 1958. They later divorced and he married Letitia Hunt on January 1, 2001. Pinky was a farmer and a truck driver for Dickey's Transport.

Pinky is survived by his wife, Letitia of Burlington, IA, daughter Kathy & husband Randy Fields of Libertyville,IA, son Jim & wife Janis Johnson of Wayland, IA and daughter Darla & husband Gavin Stacy of Brighton, IA. Surviving siblings include 2 sisters, Twyla Keller of Fairfield, IA and Barb Giberson of Stockport, IA and several nieces and nephews.

Survivors include stepchildren Karmen & husband Joel Ellickson of Cedar Rapids, IA, Krista & husband Larry Hartman of Burlington, IA, Karlene & husband Harry McPherson of Simi Valley, CA, Karla Webber-Moser & husband Kevin Moser of Burlington, IA and Kerry & wife Laura Garmoe of Burlington, IA.

Pinky had 8 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren and one step-greatgrandchild.
