Carl Fredrick Carlson

Carl Fredrick Carlson age 93 of Lockridge, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020, at Parkview Care Center.

Open visitation will be 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at Behner Funeral Home.   Family will not be present.

A Graveside service with Military Honors will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Upland Cemetery, south of Lockridge, with Pastor Al Coffin officiating.

Carl was born June 20, 1927, to Carl “Edward” and Dorothy (Arnold) Carlson in Lockridge.  He graduated from Lockridge High School in 1944. Carl married Rita A. Marlatt January 20, 1968.  She passed away March 10, 2003.

Carl served in the Navy during WWII.  He farmed and served on the Lockridge & Upland Cemetery boards.  Carl loved going for drives and spending time with his grandkids.

He will be missed by his son, John (Melanie) Carlson; and three grandchildren, Aaron, Eli and Anna Carlson.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Dorothy; his wife, Rita; and one brother, Harold Carlson.
