Carole Ann Pruden

Carole Ann Pruden, age 68 formerly of Fairfield passed away December 29, 2012 at her home in Altoona, Ia.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with Pastor Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2013 at Behner Funeral Home.

Carole was born on August 30, 1944 in Keosauqua, to Russell Jacob and Esther Kathleen Bennett Sedore. She married Quentin Pruden on May 17, 1974 in Scottland County Missouri.

She worked at Harper Brush for 32 years and enjoyed bowling. She lived most of her life in Fairfield and moved to Altoona 2 years ago.

Carole is survived by her mother: Esther Sedore of Bentonsport, 3 children: Misty (Walter) Haydt of Des Moines and Anthony Pruden and Jamie Xayavong, both of Pleasant Hill, 10 grandchildren: Corissa, Whitney, Ashlie, Lathsamy, Zachary, Anthony Jr., Libby, Drake, Zane and Quentin, 1 great-grandchild and 12 siblings: Nancy (Mike) Lawerance, Susan Parrish, David (Patsey) Sedore, William (Sue) Sedore, Linda (Kevin) Hermeston, Phyllis (Donnie) Mitchell, Cindy Kisling, Candy (Kenny) Horstmann, Lloyd Sedore, Lyle (Katie) Sedore, Peggy (Dennis) Troutman and John (Sheri) Sedore.

She was preceded in death by her father: Russell Sedore and 3 brothers: Robert Sedore, Harold "Pete" Sedore and Monty "Joe" Sedore.
