Chauntel Shree Wilkins, age 23 of Fairfield, Iowa passed away August 11, 2012 at her home in Fairfield.

A private memorial graveside service will be at a later date.

Visitation for family and friends will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, Ia.

Chauntel Shree Wilkins was born May 2, 1989 in Ottumwa, Iowa. She was raised by the late Max Wilkins and Patrice Sembla Schafer.

Chauntel has been a resident of Fairfield since 2005. She worked for Tenco.

Chauntel is survived by her mother: Patrice Schafer of Fairfield, siblings: Bryan Wilkins, Patricia Wilkins, Cursty Carson, Justin Cross , Darrick Cecchin and Theresa Carson, all of Fairfield, Lisa Carson of Salem, and William Eugene Van Ness of Pleasant Plain and grandmother: Eleaner Little.

Chauntel was preceded in death by her father: Max Wilkins, step-father: Walter Schafer and grandmother: Rose Kauppi
