Clara Bernice Carter

Clara Bernice Carter passed away peacefully in her sleep at about 4:50 a.m. Tuesday, January 26,2010 at her home in Fairfield. She was in her 92nd year.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday evening from 7:30-9:00 p.m. at Fellowship Hall, 51 North Court Street, on the East side of the Fairfield Square. All are invited.

Clara Bernice was born February 22, 1917 in Hamlin, Texas. She loved most of all being with her family. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, as well as playing cards and Scrabble with family and friends. Clara's warm welcoming heart and vibrant love of life was cherished by her family and friends alike. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Clara B. is survived by her three sons and their wives Bruce and Cheryl, and Harley and Mary, both of Faifield, and Robert and Beverly of Springdale, Arkansas, and also nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Her ashes will be buried next to her husband Myrl D. Carter in Albany, Missouri.
