Clarence L. Trueblood age 79 of Fairfield,IA passed away Sept. 28,2007 at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield,Ia.

Funeral Services were held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday October 3, 2007 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, IA with Pastor Danny Cary officiating. Burial was in Smith Cemetery, rural Birmingham, IA.

Clarence L. Trueblood was born June 16, 1928 in Lakefield, MN, the son of Harry and Margie (Lockner) Trueblood. He was united in marriage with Mary Ann Donald. They are the parents of two children: Donna and Donald.

Clarence lived most of his life in the Fairfield area. He was a molder for the Iowa Malleble Iron Co. for 41 years. Clarence was a member of Eagles Lodge # 1927, a social member of V.F.W.and a member of the First Lutheran Church. He was involved in Fairfield Little League, and enjoyed fishing.

Clarence is survived by his wife Mary Ann Trueblood of Fairfield,IA, daughter Donna L. Jens of Manassas, VA, son Donald L. Trueblood of Cedar Rapids, IA, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Surviors include one sister, Fern Thornburg-Stecker, of Mt. Pleasant, IA.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Vern Trueblood and one sister, Marjorie Trueblood in infancy.
