Claude Samuel Nicholson

Claude "Sam" Samuel Nicholson, age 23 of Fairfield, passed away Friday, November 10, 2006 at his home.

Funeral services wwew held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with Rev. Keevin Koch and Rev. Fr. Charles Fladung officiating. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery in East Pleasant Plain, IA.

The family wishes memorials, in lieu of flowers, to be made to the Nicholson family.

Claude "Sam" Samuel Nicholson, was born January 25, 1983 in Fairfield, IA. He was the son of Claude L. and Sharon (Sieren) Nicholson. He lived all his life in the Fairfield community, graduating from FHS in 2001, where he participated in football, wrestling and track.

Sam was supervisor and painter at Finney Industrial Painting. His interests included hunting, fishing, playing pool, and Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Sam is survived by his parents, Claude and Sharon Nicholson, one sister and three brothers: Mychelle & David Clark of Decorah, IA, Mike & Marsha Nicholson of Richland, Duffy Nicholson of Packwood, IA and Monty & Michelle Nicholson of Richland. Also surviving are his grandmothers: Loretta Sieren of Brighton, and Vivian Nicholson of Wichita, KS and several nieces and nephews.

Sam was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Cletus Sieren of Brighton and Glenn Nicholson of Wichita.
