Daniel "Red" David Harrison

Daniel "Red" David Harrison, age 74, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012 at Jefferson County Health Center.

Friends may sign the guest register from 10a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at the Behner Funeral Home, in Fairfield.

Services will be at a later date. According to his wishes, his body has been cremated.

Memorials may be made to the Jefferson County Heart Association. Cards and memorials can be sent to Kay Ehrhardt at 1100 S. Main St. Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

Red was born on April 9, 1937 in Jefferson County, to George William Harrison Sr. and Martha Burke Harrison. He was raised by Roy and Eva Hendricks, due to the death of his parents.

He had worked at the Fairfield Community School District as a food deliverer, Fairfield Country Club as a Greens keeper and Fairfield Elks as a Bartender.

Red is survived by his longtime companion: Kay Ehrhardt, 1 brother: George (Charlotte) Harrison of Keosauqua, 1 sister: Sandy (Bob) Stump of Libertyville and several nieces and nephews.
