David E. Essary, age 60, of Fairfield, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2008 at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

Family visitation will be 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Memorial services for David Essary will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday February 16, 2008 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield with Pastor Jim McGaffey officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.

David E. Essary was born November 12, 1947 in Iowa City, IA to Donald and Donna (Snook) Essary. He graduated from Fairfield High School and was employed with Alcoa and Middlekoop Seed Co.

He is survived by his mother, Donna Essary of Fairfield, two daughters: Kimberly and Shelly, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law: Donny Essary and wife Virginia and Dennis Essary, and Barb Essary, all of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother: Dan Essary.
