David Roy White

David Roy White, age 35, of Fairfield, passed away August 3, 2018.

Visitation will be at 10:00 am, Monday, August 13, 2018, at Behner Funeral Home with a memorial service at 11:00 am with Rev. Beth Harbaugh officiating. Burial of cremains at a later date.

Memorials can be made to the family and mailed to 1504 Lone Oak Circle, Fairfield, IA 52556.

David was born August 5, 1982, to Lawrence and Glenda (Schilb) White. David married Nicole Mellum on March 23, 2001.  They later divorced.

David graduated from FHS Class 2000 and spent most of his life in the Fairfield area. He held different positions for Dexter, Pizza Hut, Falco, and bridge construction. David collected glass clowns and baseball cards, hats and shoes.  His interests were spending time his daughter, playing baseball, basketball, football, frisbee golf, playing his guitar and clarinet, drawing, doing carpentry and home repairs.

Left to share David’s memories are his parents, Lawrence White of Birmingham, and Glenda White of Fairfield; daughter, Lana White of Fairfield; aunts, Sandra Koettel of Ottumwa, Linda Vermillion of Carrizozo, NM and Roxie Brown of Winter Haven, FL; uncles, Steven Smith of Agency and Jeffrey Schilb of Fairfield; and many cousins.

David was preceded by his grandparents, Lester and Doris (Smith) Schilb, and Raymond & Ella (Droz) White.
