Dolores Agnes Brown, age 76 of Birmingham, passed away February 22, 2013 at the Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua, Ia.Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday February 27, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Stephen C. Page officiating. Burial will be at Spencer Cemetery near Stockport, Iowa.Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with prayers for Christian wake to follow Tuesday February 26, 2013 at Behner Fuenral Home in Fairfield, Ia.Memorials can be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or Diabete's Association. Cards and memorials can be sent to 210 N. Highway 1 Birmingham, Ia. 52535.Dolores A. Brown was born November 2, 1937 to Joseph and Anna Zumdome Moeller at Salem, Iowa. She married Donald D. Brown on April 18, 1959. Dolores was raised in the St. Paul, Iowa area and graduated from St. James High School in St. Paul. She was a home health aid for ten years, and a teacher's aid for special needs children for 2 years. Her hobbies and interest included the American Legion Auxiliary, Birmingham Red Hats, going to the casinos to play slot machines, and attending auctions. Dolores is survived by: her husband Donald D. Brown of Birmingaham, Ia., Daughter Julie (David) Ludwig of Farmington, Ia., sons: Jim (Kibby) Brown of Puyallup, Wa., Jerry Brown of St. Paul, Mn., John (Vicki) Brown of Stockport, Ia., Jack (Deborah) Brown of Mound, Mn., 6 grandchildren: Aaron Ludwig, Samantha (Brandon) McCracken, Stephanie Brown, Sarah Brown, Nicklaus Brown, Alexander Brown, 3 great grandchildren: Jacob Brown, Taylor McCracken, Harper McCracken,3 sisters and 1 brother: Patricia (Raymond) Bonser of Alta Loma, Ca., Mary Jo (Earl) Horras of Richland, Ia. Alfred (Jan) Moeller of Kanas City, Mo., Virginia Schwartz of West Point, Ia.Dolores was preceded by: her parents.
