Donald "Doc" Lorraine Dunn

Donald "Doc" Lorraine Dunn, age 64, passed away September 28, 2010 at his tractor shop in Libertyville, Iowa.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 1, 2010 at Fell Cemetery in Libertyville with Pastor Danny Cary officiating.

There will be no family visitation, but friends may come by at 204 Maplewood Circle in Libertyville, from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. on Thursday.

Family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Faith United Methodist Church-Parsonage Fund. They may be sent to Cindy Dunn at 204 Maplewood Circle Libertyville, Iowa 52567.

"Doc" was born March 27, 1946 in Burlington, Iowa to James W. and Ruth E. Brandmeyer Dunn. He married Cindy Nelson on October 3, 1965 at the Libertyville United Methodist Church.

"Doc" was a retired farmer and truck driver, for Troutman Trucking. He enjoyed fishing, antique tractors, Old Threshers, attending his grandchildren's activities and sharing good times with his friends at the shop.

"Doc" is survived by his mother: Ruth Dunn of Mt. Pleasant, wife: Cindy Dunn of Libertyville, 2 daughters: Debra (Chip) Fritz of Sigourney and Dawn Dunn of Fairfield, 1 son: Darin (Tami) Dunn of LeMars, Iowa, 10 grandchildren: Whitney Dunn, Andrew Fritz, Zachary Dunn, Kylie Dunn, Jacob Dunn, Nathan Fritz,Preston Dunn, Jesse Fritz, Morgan Ohm and Beau Ohm, 1 brother: Doyle Dunn of Mt. Pleasant and 1 sister: Deanna Northcott of Mayhill, New Mexico and his mother-in-law: Harriet Nelson of Libertyville.

He was preceded in death by his father: James Dunn and his father-in-law: Frank Nelson.
