Donald Eugene Fleig

Donald Eugene Fleig, age 58 of Fairfield, passed away at his home Sunday, May 17, 2015.

Per his wishes he has been cremated.

Visitation for family and friends will be 10:00 am – 11:00 am, Saturday, May 23, 2015 prior to the memorial service at Behner Funeral Home. Memorial service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Len Maselli officiating. Private burial of cremains will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

Donald was born October 9, 1956 to William L and Mary (Ryan) Fleig.

Donald lived all his life in Fairfield. He worked at Alaniz Metro group for 28 years as a machine operator. Donald enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Iowa Hawkeye’s.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Fleig; two sisters, Denise Blough of Iowa City, IA and Cinda (Bruce) Emerson of Fairfield, IA; 3 brothers, Randy (Roberta) Fleig of Libertyville, IA, Billy (Jan) Fleig of Mt. Pleasant, IA and Jeff (Laura Jenkins) Fleig of St. Louis, MO; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Fleig; and his grandparents.
