Donald Doran Heston

Donald Doran Heston, age 83, of Fairfield, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at his home.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 3, 2011 at Behner Funeral Home.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2011 at Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor Danny Cary officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Fairfield V.F.W. Auxiliary and sent to 302 S. 31st St. Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

Donald was born October 30, 1927 to Emil and Norabelle Shirkey Heston in Fairfield.

He was a lifelong resident of Fairfield and worked at Dexter Co. on the Assembly Line for 27 years. His hobbies included walking and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Donald is survived by 3 brothers and 1 sister: Emil Jr. (Shirley) Heston of Fairfield, Earlene "Shirley" Countryman of Moline, Illinois, Earl Heston of Bettendorf and Kenneth (Carolyn) Heston of Ankeny, several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers: Merle, Max and LaVerne and 1 sister: Betty Jean.
