Donald James Sorflaten

Donald James Sorflaten, age 62 passed away April 6, 2011 at his home in Fairfield.

According to his wishes, the body has been cremated and there are no services planned at this time.

Donald was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota on March 7, 1949 to Eugene and Bernice Cotton Sorflaten.

He retired from 3M as a computer programmer. He was a Naval photographer in Washington D.C. during the Vietnam War, had previously worked at Bovard Studios in Fairfield and was a motorcycle enthusiast.

Donald is survived by his brother: John Sorflaten of Columbia, Maryland, formerly of Fairfield, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
