Dorothy Swartz passed away at Sunnybrook Assisted Living on August 16, 2005.

Graveside services will be held Friday morning, August 19, 2005 in Sharon, Massachusetts.

Mrs. Swartz was born November 1, 1915 in boston, MA. She married Philip Swartz in 1945 and they were the parents of two children, Diane and Frederick.

Dorothy and Philip raised their family in Newton, MA. Following her husband's death, she moved to Fairfield in 2001.

Survivors include her children and their families: daughter Diane deMarchena of New York City, and son Frederick and wife Janet of Fairfield, IA and three grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Ben Whitman of Hopedale, MA and friend Radhika Schwartz.

Preceding Mrs. Swartz in death are her parents, husband Philip, two sisters, one brother and one son-in-law.
