Dustin Wyatt Campbell

Dustin Wyatt Campbell, age 56 of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2007 at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

His body was cremated. Graveside memorial services were conducted 10:30 AM, Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield. Rev. Jim Wotherspoon and Rev. Danny Cary co-officiated.

The family requests memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Dustin Wyatt Campbell was born June 13, 1950 in Fairfield, IA, the son of Keith and Eva (Wyatt) Campbell. He grew up in Fairfield, graduating from FHS with the Class of 1969.

Dusty was united in marriage with Dorothy Joann Hicks on July 19, 2003. She died April 24, 2007.

Dusty was retired from the machine shop of The Dexter Company. He was a member of Suburban Heights Baptist Church and a 30 year member of Eagles Lodge #1927 of Fairfield.

Dusty is survived by his parents, Keith and Eva Campbell of Fairfield, and his step-children and their families: Calvin Hicks of Lindale, TX, Linda Sisson of Las Vegas, NV, and Daniel Hicks of Keokuk, IA. Survivors include one brother, Jerry Campbell of Des Moines, IA.

Dusty was preceded in death by his wife, and one sister, Sandra Campbell.
