Dwaine Grover Crees, age 58, of Fairfield passed away April 8, 2014 in Fairfield, IA.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, April 11, 2014 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Behner Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Monday, April 14, 2014 at Henry-Olson Funeral Home in Estherville, IA with Rev. Clair Odell officiating. Burial will be at Eastside Cemetery, Estherville, Iowa.

Dwaine was born January 25, 1956 in Estherville, Iowa to Lawrence and Geraldine (Steele) Crees. He married Karen Odell September 6, 1977 at Christ United Methodist Church in Davenport, IA.

He has lived in the Fairfield area since 1982. Dwaine worked at Falco as a molder and Hickenbottoms Inc. as a janitor. He loved to go fishing, hunting, play poker and metal detecting. He loved spending time with his family and friends and especially his grandkids. Dwaine attended the First United Methodist Church in Fairfield, IA.

Dwaine is survived by Karen Crees of Davenport, IA; 2 children, Jeremy (Jennifer) Crees of Manitowoc, WI and Angie (John) Pacha of Marion, IA; 7 grandchildren, Drew, Chase and Cole Crees, Caleb, Clara, Blaise and Cooper Pacha; 2 siblings, Larry (Lynette) Crees of Estherville, IA and Teri McCubbins of Emmetsburg, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
