Earl Wayne Brown

Earl died 4:50 A.M. Monday January 10, 2005 at the Washington County Hospital in Washington,Iowa.He was 82 years old.

Earl was born May 5, 1922 in rural Afton,Iowa. He was the son of Walter and Bessie Hammans Brown.
He married Enid Ames Brown on November 18, 1945 in Afton, Iowa.

Earl graduated from pharmacy college at Drake University in DesMoines, IA. He was a partner in the Montross Pharmacy in Winterset, IA. He moved to Fairfield in 1968 and established Brown Pharmacy with Keith Glenn as his partner.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fairfield and a U.S. Air Force Veteran of World War II.

He is surived by his wife, Enid Brown of Washington, Iowa. 1 son, Martin Brown of New York City, NY and 1 daughter, Linda Brown of Iowa City,Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Faye Olinger of
Manchester, Iowa and Arlene Robken, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

His body was cremated. Memorial Services for Earl Wayne Brown were 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 14, 2005 at the Behner Funeral Home with Rev. Everett Burham officiating. Burial of Cremains will be at a later date in Greenlawn Cemetery in Afton, IA.

The family requests memorials to the Fairfield Public Library, Jefferson County Historical Society & Museum or the Halycon House Good Samaritan Fund.
