Edith A. Crandall age 90 of Fairfield, Iowa passed away Saturday September 1, 2007 at Jefferson County Hospital.

Funeral Services were conducted at 1:30 pm Wednesday September 5, 2007 at Behner Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Peterson officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield, Iowa.

Edith A. Crandall was born July 22, 1917 to Charles Cledith and Virgina Yates Seaton in Moulton, Iowa. Edith was united in marriage to Donald Orman Crandall in Casper Wyoming in 1944. He died October 17, 1979.

Edith has lived in Fairfield since 1961.She was employed as a shipping clerk at Fairfield Glove. Her interest include Knitting, sports, Chicago Cubs, and the Bulls , she also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.She attended the first United Methodist Church.

Surviving Edith are 2 Sons and Spouses: Don (Kathrine) Crandall- Oskaloosa, Iowa, and Jerry (Helen) Crandall- Coin, Iowa, 6 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.

Edith was preceeded by: her parents, husband, and 1 brother Russell Seaton, and 1 sister Edna Hansen.
