Elaine Linda Lawrence

Elaine Linda Lawrence age 71 of Fairfield, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date with inurnment at Wright Cemetery.

A memorial has been established and can be mailed to Amber Davis, 402 South 15th Street, Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

Elaine was born August 16, 1951, in Fairfield to Frank and Velma (Black) Rizor.  She married Gary Lawrence and he later passed away.

Elaine graduated from the University of Iowa and continued after college following the Iowa Hawkeyes various sports, being one of their biggest fans.  She was a dental hygienist and loved playing cards.  Most important was spending time with her family.

Elaine will be missed by her children, Derek (Amanda) Lawrence and Amber (Bryon) Davis; three grandchildren, Ashley Lawrence, Cyrus Lawrence and Gavin Droz; her siblings, Gene (Nancy) Rizor, Marcia Gray and Duane Rizor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Velma Rizor; husband, Gary Lawrence; and her brother, Preston Rizor.
