Ella Mae Barnett was born January 14, 1929 in Fairfield, Iowa, the daughter of Harley and Galena (Gauss) Barnett. She passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tucson, AZ on August 22, 2005.

Ella graduated from Fairfield High School in the Class of 1947. She lived for a time in West Des Moines before moving to Tucson, AZ in June of 2005. Ella was employed as a collection agent for Sears Financial Group and later for citing.

Ella is survived by one brother and his wife, Ed and Joan Barnett of Midway, Arkansas and one half-brother, Victor Barnett of Illinois, one uncle, Paul Barnett of Florida and one aunt Berdina Metz of Fairfield.

Preceding Ella in death are her parents and one nephew, Mark Barnett.
