Evaline Frances Poole

Evaline F. Poole, age 77, of Fairfield, IA, passed away at Nelson Nursing Home on Monday, April 9, 2007.

Following her wishes, her body will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held by the family.

Evaline Frances Poole was born in Detroit, MI on November 17, 1929. She was the daughter of Conrad William and Marguerite Lillian (Supernaw) Sippel. Evaline was united in marriage with Dewey Donald Poole on September 6, 1950. They are the parents of five children: Denise, Gregory, Jeffrey, Paul, and John.

Evaline was a devoted wife and mother, and was employed as a Registered Nurse at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames, IA. Her prior residence was Stockton, CA, and had lived in Fairfield since 1982.

Evaline is survived by her children and their families: Denise Poole and Paul Poole, both of Fairfield, IA, Gregory Poole and Jeffrey Poole, both of Boulder, CO, and John Poole, of Jeffersonville, IN. Evaline has three grandchildren. Survivors include one sister, Marie Elieff, of Lansing, MI.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on July 27, 1981, and one brother, William.
