Florence Lay

Florence Lay passed away April 15, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua, Iowa.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 19, 2010 at the Evangelical Cemetery in Donnellson, Iowa. According to Florence's wishes, the casket will be closed and there will be no visitation.

Memorials may be made to the Van Buren Good Samaritan Society.

Florence was born January 17, 1922 in Donnellson, Iowa to Karl and Freda Knapp Lay.

Florence worked at the Donnellson Public Library and Faith Apple Orchard.

Florence is survived by her niece and caregiver, Arlene Deao of Stockport and one sister Luella Davis of Keota.

Florence was preceded by her parents, three sisters, Mandy, Clara and Alice and two brothers, Roy and Clifford.
