Frances W. Pyle

Frances W. Pyle, age 83 of Fairfield, IA, passed away Tuesday August 21, 2007 at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield,Iowa.

Funeral Services were held 10:00 AM, Monday, August 27, 2007 at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Wotherspoon officiating. Burial was in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield, IA.

Frances W. Pyle was born June 13, 1924 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Barry and Edith (Beall) Feldmann. She married LaVerne F. Pyle on November 19, 1944. LaVerne died June 3, 2006.

Frances graduated from Agency High School and continued her education at Iowa Success college in Ottumwa,IA. Frances has lived in the Fairfield community since 1964. She was a cook at the Fairfield High School and Parsons College for many years. Frances was a member of First Baptist Church, Baptist Church Women, and Maxine Bates Circle. Her hobbies include crocheting, camping, and cooking.

Frances is survived by her daughters and their families: Linda L. and David Harwood of Fairfield, Iowa, and Jeannie L. and Jim Truitt of Houma, Louisiana. Frances has six grandchildren and nine great-grandchidren. Survivors include two brothers and one sister: Lawrence Feldmann of Georgia, Donald Feldmann of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Barbara Black of Cedar Rapids, IA.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister, Dorothy Feldmann and one brother, George Feldmann.
