Frank LeRoy Whitham, age 99 passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Sunnybrook Living Care Center in Fairfield.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mike Metz officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the first United Methodist Church prior to the service.

Frank was born in Fairfield on April 28, 1911 to Roy and Bertha McGrew Whitham. He married Mary Louise Neiswanger on February 5, 1939 at the First Methodist Church in Fairfield. She passed away June 4, 1998. Frank then married Wilma Lewis on April 28, 2005 at the First United Methodist Church in Fairfield.
He graduated with the class of 1930 from Fairfield High School and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, farmed in the Jefferson, Wapello, and Henry counties and raised pure breed polled Hereford cattle.
Frank is survived by his wife, 2 step daughters: Diane Lewis (Dr. Randy Thomas) of Midlothian, Virginia an JoAnn Lewis of Ashland, Oregon, 3 step grandchildren, 1 step great-grandchild, 1 sister: Lucille Kepford of Indianola, Iowa and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife, 3 brothers: Charles, Roll and Theodore Whitham and 3 sisters: Grace, May and Hazel Whitham.
