Garold “Petie” Lee Warren age 80 of Batavia, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Sunnybrook Living Care Center, Fairfield, IA.
There will not be any services held at this time. There will be a Graveside service at a later date at Allerton Cemetery, Allerton, IA with burial of cremains.

Garold was born February 26, 1936 to Orville and Susan (Tracy) Warren Sr. He married Marilyn Thatcher January 15, 1958 in Sewal, IA. This year they celebrated 58 years of marriage.
Garold worked 29 years for Burlington Northern Railroad as a railroad foreman. He liked to help farm and work on tractors. Garold was a jack of all trades. Some of Garolds interest was to go fishing, play solitaire and black powder shoots. He was a member of AA for the past 37 years. He held weekly meetings in his garage for the past 26 years.
Garold is survived by his wife, Marilyn Warren of Batavia, IA; 3 daughters, Kahla (Fred) Schmidt of Wester City, IA, Tammy (Gary) Cooper of Milton, IA and Laura (Les Cook) Warren of Bladensburg, IA;7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one sister, Mildred Megonigle of Milwaukee, WI; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Susan Warren Sr.; 6 brothers; 4 sisters; and one great granddaughter.
