George Ann "Connie" Hanneman

November 7, 1919 — October 7, 2005

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, October 14, 2005 in Ft. Madison, Iowa at St. John Church of Christ with Pastor Cheryl Simpson officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Ft. Madison.

Family Visitation will precede the service at 10:30 AM at the church.

Connie Hanneman passed away in Boulder, Colorado on October 7, 2005.

George Ann "Connie" Hanneman was born in Fairfield, Iowa on November 7, 1919, the daughter of George A. and Catherine (Basham) Consbrock. She married Edward C. Hanneman on June 30, 1940 in Ft. Madison, Iowa. They were the parents of one daughter, Stephanie. George passed away December 6, 2002.

Connie was a homemaker and a seamstress. She was member of the First Presbyterian Church of Fairfield and PEO. She was very artistic and enjoyed painting and needlepoint. Connie was a resident of Boulder since 2002.

"Mom was the conscience of our family. She encouraged and expected us to always do our best. She deeply loved her family and was deeply loved in return. Her physical presence will be greatly missed, but her loving spirit will continue to encourage and love us."

Connie is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Isakson and son-in-law Duane of Boulder, CO. She was grandmother to four grandsons: Christopher, Davin, Brant and Matthew. Connie was great-grandmother to Payton, Delaney, Katie Ann and Jack.

Also very important in her life were her nephews, Brent and Kirk and niece Karen.
