Gerald "Lefty" Pasch, 81, of Fairfield, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield, IA.
Family visitation was held Friday, May 5, 2006, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, preceding the Memorial Services at the First Lutheran Church in Fairfield. Services were held at 2:00 PM. with Rev. Marvin Robeck officiating.

Gerald "Lefty" Pasch was born in Cuba, Missouri on September 20, 1924, the son of August and Ada (Mundy) Pasch. He was a US Air Force Veteran of WWII, retiring with the rank of Major. Lefty married Gladys Maxine Helgeland on September 4, 1949 at the First Lutheran Church in Fairfield. They are the parents of two children: Karen and Perry.
Lefty was a 75 year resident of the Fairfield area. He was a self-employed barber for 35 years and owner of Lefty's Real Estate for 25 years. Lefty was a member of the Walton Club, B.P.O. E. #1192, Iowa Realty Association, Fairfield M.L.S. the Isaac Walton League and past president of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.
Lefty is survived by his wife, Gladys and their children and families: daughter Karen Armstrong of Kirksville, MO and son Perry Pasch of Fairfield. Lefty was grandfather to four grandchildren: Clinton Armstrong, Kaitlin Armstrong, Brice Pasch and Kyle Pasch. Survivors include a sister, Violet Gaven of Sacramento, CA.
Lefty was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son and daughter, two sisters: Carmalee Gillaspie and Norma Jean Holcomb and one brother, George Pasch.
