Gertrude M. Lydolph

Gertrude M. Lydolph, age 87, passed away Friday, September 29, 2006, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

Funeral services were held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at Stockport United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Renken officiating. Burial followed in Dibble Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Stockport United Methodist Church or the Stockport American Legion Auxiliary.

Gertrude M. Lydolph was born October 17, 1918 in Utica, Iowa, the daughter of Perry and Loretha (Stevens) Pratt. She graduated from Stockport High School in 1937.

Gertrude married Glenn Ware Lydolph in Las Vegas, NV on August 21, 1939. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Woodland Hills, CA, and returned to Stockport in 1973. They were the parents of one son, Steven. Glenn passed away June 19, 1990.

Gertrude was a housewife and a member of the Stockport United Methodist Church, as well as the Stockport American Legion Auxiliary.

Gertrude is survived by her son, Steven Lydolph of Ferndale, WA and two grandsons: Joshua and Chad, as well as two brothers and one sister: Donald Pratt of Ft. Madison, IA, Perry Pratt of Chillicothe, MO and Betty Clark of West Burlington, IA.

Gertrude was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two infant sons: Donald LeRoy Lydolph and Carroll Dean Lydolph.
