Glen "Dale" Kerr

Glen "Dale" Kerr, age 76, of Fairfield, passed away Thursday September 19, 2013 at Van Buren Good Samaritan in Keosauqua, IA.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm, Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Behner Funeral Home and Crematory in Fairfield, with Pastor Ben Parker officiating. With a private burial at a later date.

Visitation for family and friends will be 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm prior to the service, Sunday, September 22, 2013.

Glen was born March 10, 1937 in Keosauqua, IA to Glen and Pearl (Hootman) Kerr. He married Dora (Lillian) Ritz April 21, 1957.

He worked for IA Electric Company for 33 years as a gas serviceman. In his spare time he enjoyed playing his steel guitar.

Glen is survived by his wife: Dora (Lillian) Kerr; 2 daughters: Lori Lynn Kerr (Rod) Luke of Fairfield, Iowa and Linda Raye Kerr (Mitch) Crossley of Sierra Vista, Arizona, 7 Grandchildren: Matt Luke, Brandon Luke, Travis Luke, Grant Crossley, Meredith Crossley, Cameron Crossley and Benjamon Crossley, and 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother: Kenneth Kerr and 1 sister: Martha Esther Kerr.
