Gloria Jean Combs

Gloria Jean Combs, age 61, passed away February 13, 2011 at Good Samaritan in Ottumwa.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 18, 2011 at Behner Funeral Home with words of comfort by Bob McLeod.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Friday, February 18, 2011.

Gloria was born in Iowa City on April 17, 1949 to Clarence and Melvena Roberts Shondel. She married Robert Lee Combs on June 28, 1968 in Kahoka, Missouri. He passed away June 14, 2003 in Tomah, Wisconsin.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, quilting, cross stitching and crocheting.

Gloria is survived by her mother: Melvena, 2 children: Lori Snider and Eric Combs, 2 grandchildren: Erika Snider and Erin Snider, 2 sisters: Gail (Jerald) McClaran of Fairfield and Suzanne (Robert) McLeod of Independence, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and her husband.
