Harold L. Carlson, 77, of Lockridge passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at Pleasant Manor Care Center in Mt. Pleasant, IA.

Following his wishes, there was no family visitation and the casket was closed.

There was a private graveside service held at the Lockridge Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Diane Brokken.

Harold L. Carlson was born August 28, 1928 in Lockridge, IA, the son of Ed and Dorothy (Arnold) Carlson. He graduated from Lockridge High School and lived all his life as a farmer in the Lockridge communityuntil his retirement. Harold was a US veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include one brother, Carl Carlson, one nephew, John Carlson of Lockridge and several cousins.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents.
