Harold Lee Lane

Harold Lee Lane, age 77, passed away at his home in Fairfield, Iowa on Friday, March 2, 2012.

Per his request, his body has been cremated and there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.

Harold Lee Lane was born on August 3, 1935 in Cabool, Missouri to James T. and Georgia Campbell Lane. Harold was an Army veteran serving his country during the Korean Conflict. He was employed by Iowa Malleble Iron Company. He worked there for over 33 years and finished his career as a molding supervisor. Harold married Peggy Lane and they later divorced.

Harold is survived by his children: Deborah Jaquez of Fairfield, Michael Lane of Ohio, and Karina Good of Fairfield, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three brothers: James D. Lane of Fairfield, Daniel D. Lane of Brighton, Iowa and Ronald J. Thomas of Webster, Texas and four sisters: Karen Gordon of Washington, Iowa, Patricia Lathrop of Fairfield, Kathy Klett of Fairfield, and Connie Gardner of Wales, Wisconsin.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, one sister: Della Marie Owens, one brother: Richard Thomas and his step-mother: Madeline Lane.
