Harold "Skip" Sloan, age 72, of Fairfield, passed May 3, 2013 at his home in Fairfield, IA.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Behner Funeral Home and Crematory. Following the visitation the body will be cremated. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.

Harold "Skip" was born June 18, 1940 in Toledo, OH.

He worked in the kitchen at the Holiday Inn for 15 years.

He liked to go camping and fishing. He loved to put model cars together and give them as gifts to friends.

Harold "Skip" is survived by one daughter: Elizabeth Wallenstein of Yankton, South Dakota; one grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
