Harry Richard Blodgett III

Harry Richard Blodgett III, age 21, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Behner Funeral Home. 3:00 will be a time for sharing from family and friends.

Harry was born on January 14, 1991 in Corning, New York to Harry Blodgett Jr. and Laurie Jacobus Blodgett.

For the past 5 years, he has lived in the Fairfield area. He graduated from Pekin High School and went on to Indian Hills Community College, earning a welding degree and worked at Pioneer Seed in Mt. Pleasant. He loved hunting, fishing, big trucks and all of his family and friends.

Harry is survived by his parents: Harry Blodgett Jr. of Fairfield, Laurie Jacobus of Campbell, New York, 2 sisters: Caitlin Blodgett of Campbell, New York and Taylor Blodgett of Washington, Iowa, grandparents: Harry and Bernice Blodgett of Corning, New York, Gayle and Fred Sprague of Addison, New York and Glen and Fran Jacobus of Lindley, New York. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
