Helen Marie Hotle, age 86 of Fairfield, passed away January 8, 2013 at the Jefferson County Health Center.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the First Church of the Nazarene.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Howard Innis officiating. Cremation will follow the service and a private burial of cremains, in the Friends Cemetery in Richland, will be held at a later date.

Helen was born on March 4, 1926 in Richland, to Leo and Leona Fredrick Oswalt. She married Walter "Shorty" Jr. Hotle in November of 1942 in Kahoka, Missouri. They later divorced. Shorty passed away on April 20, 1993.
She was a factory worker, caretaker and self-employed. She also enjoyed playing BINGO and cards and spending time with her family and friends.
Helen is survived by 4 children: Sandra (Dean) Hoguet of Mt. Pleasant, Deanna (Jim) Lane of Fairfield, Bob (Mary) Hotle of Kenosha, Wisconsin and Rebecca (Bob) Vogt of Richland, 7 grandchildren: Darcie Clingan, Todd Henderson, Shon Baxter, Shelly Wixom, Cory Hotle, Tiffany Gearheart and Fabian Vogt, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Leo and Leona Oswalt and 1 sister: Pauline Ward.
