Jack Russell Graby, age 76, of Fairfield, passed away May 22, 2006 at the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield, IA. Following his wishes, the body has been cremated.
Memorial services were held 10:30 AM, Thursday, May 25, 2006 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield with Rev. Mike Metz and Rev. Dave Peterson officiating. Burial of cremains was in Evergreen Cemetery.

Jack Russell Graby was born October 7, 1929, the son of Rex Henry and Edna Mae (Krumboltz) Graby. Jack lived all his life in the Fairfield community, graduating from Fairfield High School with the Class of 1948.
Jack was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He married Edythe Joyce Ogden on June 3, 1956 at the First Christian Church in Fairfield. Jack was a farmer all his life, retiring in 2003. He attended the First United Methodist Church in Fairfield, and was a member of V.F.W. Post #2271 and Fairfield Eagles Lodge #1927. Jack enjoyed the coffee fellowship every morning at Econofoods, and he enjoyed playing cards.
Jack is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Edythe, and a brother, Merlin Graby of Murfreesboro, TN, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Roger Graby.
